We all have very individual and different choices when it comes to perfume. Sometimes I very much believe a perfume chooses you.
Dream of Stars Eau De Parfum is made by the brand Miniso, who host the very popular children’s range Hello Kitty and a very wide range of collectible’s which includes amongst others a Lilo & Stitch.
Miniso have a wide range of products available including Makeup, accessories, Skincare and Haircare products. They cover fragrances, nail care and beauty tools, so pretty much a one stop shop for taking care of yourself.
The 30ml bottle of Dream of Stars comes in a pretty pink colour, the box is sturdy and keeps the bottle well protected. As with most products the outer of the box gives an expiry date for the perfume, and a list of active ingredients. The bottle itself is a clear glass with a silver pendant and silver faceted lid. The spray gives a good consistent amount of spray when used. As with most perfumes, it’s wise to spray and let it settle on your skin, areas recommended are pulse points like wrists, neck and behind the ears to help the fragrance last longer. I have always applied perfume myself directly to the skin, but I know lots of people who prefer to spray their clothes, I guess it’s down to personal preference.
The scent is quite flowery but not overstated, you can definitely get a sense of musk and vanilla which are listed as being the base notes. It’s certainly a pleasant fragrance. I don’t know if everyone is like me, but I certainly divide my perfumes into day wearing perfumes, night wearing perfumes and special occasions perfume. I have quite a fussy nose and some perfumes I just cannot get along with as they make me sneeze. I will probably use this perfume as a day perfume, it feels light enough for everyday use, something that will make you feel good when wearing it, lifting your mood. Perfume can do that for you, as the day progresses if a fragrance lasts, it’s good when you catch the scent knowing it’s you that smells that good.
Although a very personal choice gifting a nice perfume can be a nice idea, this would be perfect as a gift for not just your mum, but your daughter or a good friend, I think they would be very pleased to receive this perfume.
The product details say the scent is much like the name supposed to be dreamy, and I would agree with this. It’s a warm smell, very hard to describe, but one that is very nice. It’s not often I consider a new addition to my small choices of perfumes, but this is a welcome addition.
