Fairfields Farm Crisps Chorizo & Tomato Review

Reviewed by David Savage

I was recently sent some Chorizo & Tomato crisps produced by Fairfields Farm. Fairfield Farm Crisps grow the potatoes, hand select and cook them on their farm in Essex. Each 40g / 150g pack is made from British potatoes, contain no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives and are suitable for vegetarians and coeliacs, gluten free and are a non GM product. The chorizo is sourced from their neighbours at the Suffolk Salami Company who also hand make the salami from home reared pork on their farm.

Now for the crisps themselves. They are thickly cut and very, very crunchy. While they seem a little bit spicy for my taste buds (I am not a lover of spicy food so even a little bit of spice is a lot for me) the more I eat of them the more I am enjoying them. I have never tried salami/chorizo before so can’t comment on how the crisps compare.

As a crisp they are the perfect thickness and nice and crunchy as although I have said they are spicy, it can’t be that much as I keep eating them (and I am fussy about my food). So that said, if I am continuing to eat them, they must be good. Not my favourite flavour from their range (my favourite so far is the Sea Salt & Black Pepper).

Made from all natural ingredients on a family farm, Fairfields Farm can even trace each pack back to the potatoes used and which field they grew them in.

Fairfields Farm Crisps are good quality crisps, although the Chorizo & Tomato is not my favourite flavour you will have to try them for yourself and make up your own mind. But whatever flavour you try you won’t be disappointed.
