We are very keen campers and like to venture out and about when we can. What is very important to us is the quality of our camping equipment and it is always crucial that we have the right products to help keep our equipment safe during all weather types.

We have used Fabsil many times over the last 26 years and just love the company’s products. They are amazing quality and very much well worth every penny. To find out more about them, just click on this link; https://www.fabsil.com/pages/about

UNIVERSAL CLEANER – 500ml
Love, Love, Love this cleaner, so easy to use and an important part of our pre and post cleaning kit when looking after our equipment.

Firstly and very importantly, I would recommend using this outside. When we first used it, we sprayed our boots in the wash room and some of the spray went on to the floor making it slippery, so be careful, especially if you have wooden floors like us. It also has an odour to it, so doing it outside really is the best place when using this product.

We use it on our tent especially to rain proof it. We have never had any water or raindrops come in and the rain when it hits the surface of the tent, just rolls off. There are not even any heavy pockets of rain that collect which can cause the sections of the tent to bow, the water just glides off. We cleaned the tent and left it around 4-6 hours to dry, thankfully it was a rare sunny and warm day, so dried really quickly.

Other items we have used it for are our walking boots, and jackets. It is the same concept with the tent, the water droplets just glide off and there is not that feeling of feeling drenched, wet or damp if you are rained on.

When you have protected your items, be sure to leave it/them to dry. The time it takes it/them to dry is dependent on how much you use. At first it/them may feel a bit sticky but once completely dry, the stickiness goes.

Another item we have used it on is our garden table parasol. We have had the same one for over 10 years and it still looks great. Even used it on the soft top of our convertible, it comes up a treat.

This is a really good all rounder cleaner, just follow the instructions below and you will definitely get your money’s worth.

UNIVERSAL PROTECTOR 400ml
Firstly, when you use this product, we find it best to pour some of the product into a smaller container as it is not advised to pour any left overs back into the original tin. It is also much easier to just add any more bit by bit should you need it and avoids any waste.

As with the items we use the Universal Cleaner for, we use the same items with the Universal Protector. Again, we used this product outside, not only because of the odour but we did not want any spillage or strong smells in the home.

Once you have cleaned your items and left them to completely dry, you are then ready to use the protector. It dries fairly quickly but always best to leave it out to dry properly (if it is not raining of course). We protected our tent first thing in the morning and left it a good 6-8 hours, it did dry a lot quicker during this time and we wanted to make sure the odour from the product didn’t linger, hence the longer time leaving it out to dry out completely. I can honestly say whether it is going fishing or pitching up on a site, we are one of very few that stay completely dry. We never feel cold with damp either.

We have tried many protectors and this is by far THE BEST and have been using this for as long as I can remember.

Our items such as tent, jackets, boots and parasol are really well protected and the soft top on our convertible is brilliant with this product. Great to see there are no water marks, stains or wet patches.

This is a fantastic protector, just follow the instructions below and you will definitely get your money’s worth:-
