Having recently reviewed Plan Toys Detective set, I could not wait to review their Elephant Money Box. I love the fact that I recently learnt that they are an eco brand, using sustainable, ethically sourced rubberwood for all of their toys. Not only are they great for making such great toys for children to have fun with, it is also great to know that we are also helping the environment.

Having recently welcomed a 6th grandchild to the family so it only felt right to give her this for her nursery room and it look absolutely adorable. We placed it in the middle of the shelf sideways so you can see it in full view and it really did stand out. It was lovely as most people that visited her, crossed her palm with some silver which has now been added to the money box. Crossing a baby’s palm with silver goes back a long way and is a way to wish baby good health and wealth throughout their life as well as wishing them the best possible start in life too.

The money box is very strong and robust and easy to get the money out once you have finished saving, just remove the rubber plug that is on the base of it.

I love the fact that everything about this money box has curved edges. These are very soft and smooth, making it far more gentle to hold and handle than if it had square edges.
