Etta Loves Animal Print Sensory Strip Review

First of all, I have to give an exceptional shout out to Etta Loves on how they beautifully packaged and presented this animal print sensory strip is. Not what I was expecting and was astounded upon opening the packaging to see it tied up with a ribbon and wrapped in beautiful tissue paper with a sticker to seal it. It also came with a lovely handwritten message on a card (you do not see that very often), such a personal touch.

Right, now down to this gorgeous and well thought out reversible animal print sensory strip which is absolutely perfect for any newborn baby.

I have a 5 month old granddaughter and cognitive development from an early age is very important to us and her parents. The colours on one side of the strip is bright, bold and colourful with pink, light and dark blue on a white background.

What I also love about it this animal sensory strip is the black the black and white pattern. The reason I love the fact that there is black and white and what makes this such a special sensory strip, is the fact that it is particularly great for babies under the age of 4 months as they do not tend to see colour until they are least 4 months, they can only see black and white with shades of grey, so this for me, makes it an absolutely well thought out sensory play strip with colours and an extremely great one as a progressive toy as baby gets older.

There are so many ways to use this sensory strip and we particularly found it great to hang over our shoulders whilst feeding or changing nappy. We found it settled them and had something to focus on, made nappy changing so much easier. It is amazing just how focused our granddaughter became once the sensory strip was put in place.

There are many other ways to the animal print strip and there is a great little card that comes with it to give you ideas, here are some of them:-

The feel of this sensory strip is an extremely soft padded one and delightful for baby to interact with.
