Essentiel Vie is an absolutely wonderful, completely natural skincare company with a growing range that looks after all areas of skin care for both mums and babies. The premium range has such impressive attention to detail, being plant-based and completely free of all artificial ingredients. Created with love and great care by A S (editor’s note – name edited to just initials), Essentiel Vie’s brand vision is to take the boundaries of skincare to another level, by providing skincare that is as fresh and healthy as all-natural food. Essentiel Vie has been awarded Health, Beauty and Wellness ‘Best British Vegan Skincare Company 2020’.

The Essentiel Vie ‘For Her’ skincare products, which include ‘Mum’s Skin Salve’ are vegan, all natural and most reassuringly not tested on animals. For mums like myself, with sensitive skin, such as eczema, Essentiel Vie blends natural extracts and essential oils to maximise hydration, autooxidation and skin nutrition.

Approved and recommended by Dr Nadia Yousri, Fellow of Royal College of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, Mum’s Skin Salve, 100 ml, is a truly wonderful product and I would not hesitate to highly recommend it to any new Mum. It is completely multi purpose purely natural plant balm for all sore and dry skin areas of the body.

I absolutely loved how multi-functional the product is – it can be used in so many ways – on a Caesarian Section Scar, for Postpartum discomfort, on delicate new born skin and sore nipples. As well as being completely natural, the Skin Salve saves crucial space in my changing bag, as I have found it is the only salve I need to take out and about – for both me and baby. It comes in a very neat pot and a little amount goes a long way.

All Mums can appreciate the effects of pregnancy hormones on the skin as well as how very delicate new born skin is. Mum’s Skin Salve is research based, completely safe and packed with essential vitamins and nutrients. Thinking about all the changes my body went through during pregnancy, it is no wonder I have used this wonderful salve in so many ways! My own postpartum recovery was helped greatly by Mum’s Skin Salve, it really was a game changer and made life so much easier. The salve gave me lasting comfort, it soothed and relieved my tender parts and I was very reassured that it was 100% natural and safe to use in sensitive body areas.

As a family, we have sensitive skin and eczema, therefore Mum’s Skin Salve was perfect, not just for me but for all of us. It can be used on all stressed and sore skin and I found a little bit applied on my baby’s little areas of dry skin worked perfectly, naturally hydrating and moisturising. The salve became a natural, invaluable one-stop-shop for all of us.
