We are a crafty bunch my boys and I. Wet and windy days spent indoors sticking, painting, glittering and making. So I naturally put my name down to review a chosen selection from Eggnogg, with their punch line Go Colour-in Crazy.
We were not disappointed with the variety of goods that we received:
Colour In Fancy Dress: Knights Tabard & Princess Dress
Colour In Party Hat: Knights Helmet &Princess
Colour In Tablecloth: Seaside
Colour In Placemat: Sandcastle
All of the items are individually packaged in cellophane and folded. They can be unfolded and cut out along scissor lines and stuck together with Velcro pads (provided) if needed (tabard etc…)
The design prints are clear and not overly intricate, but there are areas that a more advanced “colourer” would be best suited too.
Our favourite piece to date is the seaside tablecloth. We spread it out on the kitchen floor and all 3 of us sat and coloured in for ages! It isn’t finished. It really is a labour of love, all of us complimenting the others on their hard work and choice of colour. I really can’t wait to see what the outcome will be.
The paper that the items are printed off is good quality, there was no ripping or tearing despite my 4 year old slipping whilst trying to move around it. Also the print stays exactly where it should!
These products are fantastic for any colouring crazy ones out there. They could be used as part of a themed party… the children would get to take home their creations, something that they have made… much better than a plastic whistle bulk bought!
These products gave us quality time, that is priceless!
I would definitely recommend the products and as we are off for a break soon, the pens and packs will come with us for that quality down time! Always needed with 2 boys… downtime that is!
With the school summer holidays approaching Eggnogg crafts are a great idea to be creative, relieve boredom and have great fun during the six weeks break.
