Drumond Park Mask n Ask Game Review

Reviewed by Louisa Nashir
I was thrilled when I was asked to review the Mask n Ask game as we don’t have many board games nowadays as everything seems to be electronic. I can’t remember the last time as a family we sat down and played a game so couldn’t wait to play this fun looking game by Drumond Park.
The packaging was bright and colourful and looked brilliant! Included in the box was 4 pairs of coloured glasses, 30 double sided character masks, 4 playing pieces, 1 board, 1 spinner, 48 yes/no tokens and full instructions.
I played it with Kate 7 and Kaya 12 and both really enjoyed the game although Kate found it a little hard as she didn’t understand the idea of asking questions and then using the answers to guess who she was. Kaya enjoyed it and soon got the hang of it and in no time at all had won the game! The game is suitable for 2-4 players age 7+ which is right as it can be a little tricky at first especially for young children. The aim of the game is to be the first person to guess the character/animal they have on their mask by asking simple yes/no questions. This game was a lot of fun although the instructions could do with being simplified a little as the girl’s didn’t quite understand them until I explained the rules.
A great game guaranteed to put a smile on your faces.
