Dora Designs Bogart Pug Doorstop Review

Reviewed by Mel Magnan

I received a pug door stop for review from Hayes Garden World.

This doorstop has a great name; Bogart, which is on a tag around his neck this is going to make a great Christmas present for a friend if I can manage to give him away. She has four dogs so he should feel quite at home and he is quite cute!

He is made by a company called Dora Designs and is the award-winning creative company producing a range of lovely doorstops, draught excluders and much more. They are a design by Angela Stevens who started the small craft company in 1991. They have a lovely collection of different doorstops including hedgehogs. This is the one I would have chosen for myself as I think it’s super cute but there are also cats, rabbits and mice even an otter, so something for everyone and plenty to choose from, and they all come with a name!

Bogart is a pug doorstop from the Country Dogs range and will keep even the heaviest door open. He’s made from checked linen and he has suede ears with hand stitched details, including a bow around his neck. He measures 28cm long and weighs approx. 1.2kg, he is made up of sand in his body to keep those doors open and to prevent them slamming.

He is not a toy so not really designed for children under three, but I could imagine children wanting to pick him up and play with him as they would in this house.

He is quite expensive with an RRP of £24 (currently selling at £19.99), but he does make a great unusual gift for any animal lovers who like something different.

Rating: 5/5

Price: £19.99
