Danilo Stranger Things 2023 Diary Review

Reviewed by Chan

This year, Stranger Things was one of the most popular Netflix shows, so it is no surprise that Stranger Things merchandise will be on Christmas lists of most fans. My daughter and I are fans of the show, and of course, merch is on her Christmas list too!

We are both planners, and love to write things down for future reference, that combined with a love of good quality stationary means that we are quite picky in our choices of year diaries and calendars.

I was so pleased to hear that Danilo were sending me The Stranger Things 2023 Diary to review, my daughter was going to love it, but she might have to wrestle it from me first.

The diary was sent in a nice, basic but sturdy cardboard envelope, plus this item is completely plastic free which is a bonus!

The diary itself is an A3 sized hardback so it is the perfect size to pop into a small bag. It is black and red with a picture of Eleven and her friends on the cover, Stranger Things written beneath it. This diary is an officially licensed product, which means that you can trust it to be of good quality. The images used are from the most recent series, series Four.

Inside, the paper is thick and good quality. You can feel it! (Those who love good quality paper will know what I mean) and although grey in colour, it is easy to see your writing on the page. At the start there is space for your personal details and room for notes. There is a basic week to week 2023 and 2024 calendar for quick viewing, along with notable dates. Following this, a basic month by month planner which is ideal to jot down a quick overview, easily seen when in a hurry.

Each month is then in its own section, starting with a page for more notes (you can never have enough room for notes) and a picture of one of the main characters on the left hand page, (yes including Eddie). Each picture is clear and well printed. Each character has their own quote from the show.

What I actually love about this diary is that they have thought of everything! Room for lists, enough room on each day for adding appointments and plans, and then at the bottom there is a day by day timeline so you can see exactly where in the month the days fall. It makes it really easy to plan, and no skipping back and forth of pages needed.
Also, for handy flicking through, on the right hand side each month has a letter on the edge of the paper. So you can see which month you are up to as you flick through.

At the back is a super handy 2024 mini planner and lots of room for addresses and things you feel you need to remember but doesn’t seem to fit anywhere else. This diary is a planners dream!

If she hadn’t seen this already, it would be going into my daughter’s stocking! This diary makes the perfect gift for any Stranger Things Fan, or treat yourself! It’s price point seems to fall in that zone between expensive diaries and budget diaries.

RRP: With an RRP of £10.99 is sits quiet well in the market for a licensed product.

Rating: I feel this diary deserves a five out of five star rating. Despite the slightly higher price point I feel that for an officially licensed, eco friendly and good quality product it is worth it.

After a little research, I discovered that on the same website you can also get the calendar planner! There is also a fab gift box including the diary, calendar and pen! For those big fans who love to make plans!

You can find the diary here and should you feel this product isn’t for you, then Danilo offer a 30 day money back guarantee, that’s how much faith they have in their products.
