Our hands do take a lot of punishment.  They are constantly exposed to the elements and whilst frequent washing and using hand sanitiser is a must for keeping the germs away, it does dry out our hands.  Apart from occasionally using a bit of hand cream, looking after my hands is usually at the bottom of my beauty routine and often missed out altogether and given no attention until I suddenly realise my nails are starting to break and the skin on the back of my hands looks like if belongs to some type of reptile.  That is when a product like this hand mask would be really beneficial to me giving a moisture boost to the dry parts.

The box I received contains two pairs of hand masks each pair sealed in an individual foil pouch.  When I removed them from the pouch, the two gloves where sealed together and I had to cut carefully down the seal than was joining them.  Doing this also opened them up so I could get my hands inside them, just like putting on a pair of gloves.  It was very easy.  I followed the instructions and thoroughly cleaned my hands before I did this.   I gently pressed the gloves around my hands just to make sure the product inside made contact with all parts of my hands, especially around the cuticle area.  The gloves were fairly strong and I wasn’t worried about them bursting.  Then it was sit back and relax for 30 minutes.  The instructions say leave for 20-30 minutes depending on the condition of your skin and they can also be left on overnight while you sleep.  When the time is up, all you have to do is remove the gloves and throw them away.  The instructions say to leave the hands to dry naturally.  I did this but found my hands were left feeling a bit sticky so felt I needed to wipe them on a towel. Overall, this is a very nice and easy bit of hand pampering.  The skin on my hands looked much fresher and brighter and my cuticles were a lot softer. The rose fragrance is light and fresh and lasted on my hands for a few hours afterwards.

There is a list of ingredients on the back of the box, all natural and organic. It is suitable for vegans and 100% cruelty free.

This would make a lovely little Christmas gift.  It’s the kind of pamper product most females like, easy to do, no preparation needed.  The type of thing you’d do on Boxing Day while chilling out and perfect as a thank you to any nurse or carer you may know. Their hands really take some punishment with all the washing and sanitising they have to do on a daily basis.
