A superior shirt

The shirt arrived extremely well packaged and in perfect condition. It was well pinned with both cardboard and tissue inside and a collar protector. Even though it was only in a thin plastic grey envelope bag it was completely un-bashed and un-dented.

My husband is a standard large size, so we ordered large. We felt that it came up as extra wide. Wider than a standard large we would say, and too wide for a slim large. However, very good for a large man who is a bit rounded round the middle! In fact, it would be extremely flattering for that shape of man.

The extra width does make it flap a little at the back as my husband walks along, however as he has a small tummy (got to be sensitive how I put this!) it actually looks really good on him.

It is extremely well tailored and the cut is superb. This means that it hangs really well. The tailoring definitely enhances the appearance of the wearer.

The collar stands up well and is attractive. It adds a certain smartness to it and is particularly flattering
There are double buttons on the cuffs and another small button a little higher up.  This means it will be easy to roll the sleeves up for a different look and for practicality.

It is called ‘warm handle’ – and it is. There is a lovely soft feel to it which also makes it warm.
It is a good feel for the winter weather ahead and a good light thickness.
It has spare buttons both large and small ready for the cuffs or central fastenings.
The length is excellent – we are very pleased with this. Many shirts nowadays are still too short, despite most men being near 6 foot or above.

It is a classy check pattern with green blue and white colouring. This is a catchy strong pattern to the eye
There is a small pocket which will be useful for train tickets and other flat items.This is well camouflaged, perfectly fitting in with the pattern of the check.

The shoulders fit beautifully.
It can be worn loose over trousers or jeans or tucked in.
With trainers, casuals or smart shoes.
We feel it would look best on its own without a tie.
This is a distinctive upmarket shirt.
It is versatile, and you could wear it daytime or to a party, a pub lunch, a more casual dinner or just out with friends et cetera.

My husband says‘ it is nice to put on, it moulds to your shape and is not stiff at all – it feels very comfortable‘.
Because of its great comfort and great fit I am sure this will be a ‘go to’ shirt for a long time to come.
This is a cut above and is well worth it’s price of £39.95.
This would be an excellent present for Christmas or indeed any occasion over the autumn winter and spring months.
