Cash ‘n Guns Second Edition Board Game Review

I was asked to review Ca$h ‘n Guns Second Edition from Esdevium Games and once it arrived I called my two younger cousins aged 11 and 13 to play it.
In an abandoned warehouse, a band of gangsters are splitting their latest haul, but they can’t come to an agreement on the split. It’s time to let the guns do the talking, and soon everyone is aiming at everyone… All you have to do is stay alive and have the most money at the end of the game! CASH ‘n GUNS will make you relive the best scenes from gangster movies and other modern detective stories, where the flimsiest excuse serves to let bullets fly! Fun, bluff and negotiations are to be had. Thing is, do you have enough guts to play? This is a game where laughter isn’t the only deadly thing…
Once they came round we opened it box, read the instructions and started to play. We have played it 4 times in the past week as they love it.
The instructions of the game are very easy to follow. The game itself is very easy to set up. We also found it is fun for all our age group (11, 13 and 20’s). I was not expecting my younger cousin (female, aged 11) to enjoy it but she loved it, my other cousin (male, aged 13) said it was the best game he had played ever. Myself and my partner also found it really enjoyable. I think if we got 8 people to play the game would only get better!
It is a good length of game to play, you won’t be bored at it and it doesn’t finish in 5 minutes it is really fun! We found that we really got into the game and really excited for our next turn, hoping to win by having the most paintings, money and diamonds and not dying.
Both my cousins started to get really excited to see what was going to happen, once the first person died, thankfully it wasn’t really quick, there are taking away wound cards or I would have died 100s of times!
Everything is really good quality, the guns are quite a good foam and the cardboard for cards and characters is really good too!
This is a really good game to play, I think it is suitable for all ages (over 10 as described on the box which in my opinion is perfect). They really have thought of everything when they made this game. We cannot wait to play this game with more family/friends.
