Canal Studio Creator Unicorn Light Up Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Review

My young granddaughter absolutely loves anything which involves unicorns. I had been debating what to get her for Christmas so I was delighted to be offered the Canal Studio Creator Light Up Speaker Unicorn to review.
The unicorn speaker comes attractively packaged in a colourful cardboard box, which clearly depicts the contents inside. The box is fully recyclable, which is a very important feature in our household as we try to do our best for the environment by sending as little as possible to landfill and recycling regularly. On opening the box, we discovered a plain white unicorn head model, which is all ready to personalise with the stickers which are provided. My granddaughter is a very artistic, imaginative child so she loves the idea of being able to create her own design with the stickers, making the unicorn totally unique to her. She can personalise her unicorn with a variety of music notes and other symbols, making a lovely bespoke toy, completely different to anything which her friends would have. There is a remote control and a USB cable also provided in the package.

The unicorn speaker is a fully functioning portable speaker with eight different coloured light-up modes, so it can also be used as a bedside lamp. As it is portable it can be moved from place to place, without any awkward wires to plug in. It can even be used outside so is perfect for playing music in the garden or creating additional lighting for summer barbeques. My grandchildren have a large meandering garden with lots of little private spaces where they love to play so the light-up speaker will make a lovely addition by creating a warm ambience as well as providing light in the evenings.

The speaker can be charged using the USB cable which is provided or can paired through Bluetooth using an iPhone or android phone. There is a choice of flashing or fixed light mode. We preferred not to use the flashing light mode just for aesthetic reasons, but I’m sure some children would be thrilled by the variety. The speaker can be easily controlled with the remote, which has large accessible buttons, perfect for little fingers. The sound levels can be increased or muted and bedtime stories or music can be played at the touch of a button. An added bonus is that the speaker comes completely wire free with an internal rechargeable battery.

I’m not particularly good with technology but even I found it easy to download music for my granddaughter to play and dance to. She loves to play her own music and dance around the house and garden so she is going to absolutely love this unicorn speaker as a Christmas gift.

My granddaughter has recently moved house so she now has her very own bedroom which she needs to decorate and personalise with all her belongs, so I know that the Studio Creator Light-up Unicorn Speaker will take pride of place in her room.

If you are looking for an extra special gift for a young family member, I would really recommend purchasing the unicorn speaker. Not only will it provide hours and hours of fun for the whole family, it is also extremely practical as it can be used as a bedside light too.
