Bosch Food Processor Review

I was asked to review the Bosch MCM68861GB Food Processor from AO.com.
Firstly I cannot commend AO.com enough on their first class customer service. They called to arrange delivery and gave an abundance of dates and times available to me. Prior to delivery they called, emailed and text to let me know they were on their way. The delivery driver was lovely and pleasant as we’re the contact centre staff. An absolute pleasure to deal with.
I have spent the last few days slicing dicing, juicing and mixing! Heaven for me and the family and not so much for the hips with the delicious cakes I’ve conjured up!
The food processor itself is super sturdy and although appears a bit bulky is attractive and it fits on my worktop under overhead cupboards easily even with the highest attachment in place. The blades come in a cracking little zippy bag which is well made and has a carry handle to keep fingers safe and easy storage.
There is a smaller attachment for if you only require small amounts blended which will definitely come in handy for weaning my almost 6 month year old and I’ve managed to get a stash of veg already in the freezer.
I’ve never used a food processor before but I’m very impressed with the noise level and various functions available.
Now for the technical side: it has a powerful 1250 watt motor with variable speed settings and a pulse and auto pulse setting so is more than enough for anything you want to put in it. It has an extra large mixing bowl with a 3.9 litre capacity so is suitable for up to 1.5kg of dough. A 1.5 litre liquidiser to make plenty of yummy soups or smoothies. There is even a mini chopper and a disc that cuts French fries for you. Measures (H)43 x (W)25 x (D)30cm.
Definitely worthy of a 5/5 and more for this cracking bit of kit for any kitchen.
