As the leaves start falling and the air gets a little chilly, it can only mean one thing —Halloween is creeping closer! It’s that magical time of year that we all look forward to, when witches, ghosts, and, most importantly, SWEETS, reign supreme! Let’s get real; Halloween isn’t Halloween without a giant bowl of treats (and maybe a few tricks) ready for the ‘trick and treaters’ who are set to ring your doorbell bell on October 31st. And whether you’re a HARIBO Monsters fanatic, a MOAM pinballs fiend, a HARIBO Sour Skeletons ghoul or someone who secretly hoards all the HARIBO treat size packs for yourself, there’s something undeniably delightful about diving into a bucket of Halloween sweets and treats. So, grab your torch, hold onto your witch’s hat, and read on as we explore the HARIBO Halloween sweets that popped through our letter box this afternoon!
HARIBO is the ‘Pumpkin King’ of sweet treats for Halloween in our house, so when we were asked to review a HARIBO Halloween bundle – Halloween Monster Approved, of course, (that included two share-size packs of Moam Pinballs, two share-size packs of Monsters Zing, one pack of Sour Skeletons and a huge bag containing 32 Spooky mini bags of ‘Trick or Treat’ treat size HARIBO’s), we were always going to scream YES!
After snacking away through our haul we can conclude, the HARIBO Monsters Zing bag is a delightful mix of sweet and sour – and is the timeless classic! In the shape of fangs, bats and Frankenstein’s head for the spooky season and includes – blood orange, spooky lemon, ghoulish apple and bewitching blackcurrant flavours that make these little delights even more irresistible. These are the sweet equivalent of that dependable friend who always shows up to the party with the best costume and great vibes. These will fly off the shelves this Halloween.
Next up, MOAM Pinballs – we love those balls of zingy, tingly chews that seem to vanish by the handful. There’s no denying that MOAM, hold a special place in our Halloween hearts. They’ve turned spooky for Halloween and will add a pop of fun to any bowl of treats, no tricks here. They are the party starters, always ready to add colour to the party in a lip-smacking eerie orange, spine-tingling apple and bewitching blackcurrant.
Followed by HARIBO Sour Skeletons, yep! “Kids and grown-ups love it so…” says the HARIBO slogan, and, we’re all craving this delicious mix of Spooctacularly skeleton-shaped gummy pieces, with a unique sour bite, come Halloween night. Whether it’s the lemon & lime, blood orange & pineapple, cherry & blackcurrant, they are perfect for little hands (and adult ones sneaking a midnight snack), Sour Skeletons always seem to make the cut. It’s the sweet that can’t be beat when it comes to satisfying those monstrous cravings.
Finally, and saving the best still last – HARIBO Halloween Trick or Treat multipack containing 32 treat-size bags for when you need little treat-sized packs and HARIBO have always got your back with these. Promising a playful trick and enough treats to share, HARIBO Trick or Treat offers a spooktacular selection for any wizards or witches that come knocking this Halloween. Each individual pack is a magical mix, you’ll find bats, broomsticks, frogs and spider-shaped pieces. These gums and jellies are perfectly petrifying and fangtastic for a Halloween treat. They bring that pop of flavour – sweet, sour, and everything in between. Plus, they’re perfect for sharing… or for keeping all to yourself, we won’t judge! HARIBO treat size packs continue to be a firm favourite, making them one of the popular Halloween sweets across the land.
The HARIBO Halloween Monsters range rewards children (and adults!!) for all the effort they put into Halloween. Plus they are free from artificial colours.
The HARIBO website states “HARIBO Monster Approved is the official seal of approval on packs marking HARIBO favourites created by kids, for kids, to help grown-ups avoid disappointment on the doorstep this Halloween!”
So, don’t forget your packs of HARIBO for your Halloween party and remember to have a pack or two, of treat-sized ‘Trick & Treat’ mini bags for your callers on 31st October!
