Definitely a place for high flyers at Airkix:MK

Airkix is a vertical wind tunnel situated in the Xscape building, in the heart of Central Milton Keynes.  With plenty of parking available you have no excuses not to try this exhilarating experience designed to mimic a sky dive equivalent to 11, 000 feet.

Advertised as suitable for ages 4 to 104, inexperienced and seasoned flyers are all welcome.  Equipment and clothing is provided and a range of flight packages available to suit your skills, budget and bravery levels!

The event starts when you check in for your flight an hour early and have a briefing with one of the exceptionally talented, friendly and professional instructors, including the amazing Ted Foster.  Ted holds several records for real skydives and has had the pleasure of treating the likes of Katie Price and Amy Childs to an Airkix flight.  When asked who he'd most like to fly with thought he told us it would have to be his lovely girlfriend.  He also reassured us that no one has ever been sick in there!

Just to add to the experience there is a viewing gallery for friends and family to watch anyone in the tunnel and, to bring something to the mood, every song played in the gallery had an "air theme" including "Free Falling" (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), "I wanna fly away" (Lenny Kravitz) and Wind beneath my wings" (Bette Midler).

At the moment there is a Monday night special at £49.99 for 5 minutes (pro flyer) within 3 months of the first flight and a Kids Club special for under 16 pro flyers at £25 for 5 minutes with a DVD included. Try it – It promises to blow you away!
