The preparation and cooking times are those outlaid in the book. I personally found the preparation time a little longer but I do have ADHD, so I struggle to concentrate and I have to read the instructions a few times to make sure what I am reading is registering with me.

Recipe Range and Simplicity
The book offers a comprehensive variety of recipes, including breakfast options, quick dinners, side dishes, and desserts. Some popular options include “Sticky BBQ Chicken Wings,” “Mini Garlic Breads,” and my favourite which I had to try; “Baked Cheesecake”, each adapted to maximise the convenience and efficiency of air frying. As for the cheesecake; OMG, amazing!

What I love about this book is that the recipes generally require few ingredients and minimal prep time, making this cookbook especially valuable for anyone who is busy, whether families, professionals, or anyone who appreciates straightforward, delicious food. The Milners prioritise easy-to-follow instructions and accessible ingredients.

The book is packed with vibrant and illustrative pictures for each recipe, making them easier to follow and enables you to see what the end result looks likes. Love this concept.

Health and Convenience
One of the standout benefits of air frying is its health advantages, and the Milners make full use of this by focusing on low-oil recipes that still deliver great taste. Air frying reduces the need for added fats, and this book caters well to health-conscious readers or anyone aiming to reduce their fat and or oil intake without sacrificing the flavours we all love. Many recipes include nutritional information, which is useful for those keeping track of dietary intake. The book emphasises a balanced approach to healthy eating, presenting alternatives to deep-fried classics, and lighter recipes that still satisfy.

Tips, Tricks, and Air Fryer Basics
Aimed at all levels, this book also covers the essentials of using an air fryer, offering setup instructions, cooking tips, and troubleshooting advice. If you are a beginner like me, there are sections which are very helpful as they make it clear and easy to understand some of the common hurdles of air frying, such as adjusting cooking times for different foods or dealing with uneven cooking. The Milners provide insights into various air fryer models and accessories, making it easier to adapt the recipes to fit a range of machines, including basket and oven-style air fryers. These tips make the book a helpful resource even for those who may already be familiar with air frying but are looking to improve their results.

Overall
The book is a highly practical and meets its promise of providing easy, delicious recipes for the air fryer. It’s accessible recipes, practical advice, and focus on health make it an excellent addition for beginners and busy home cooks.

We love the fact that there is section on Understanding Your Air Fryer, making so easy to know and understand air fryer in more detail.

This is a great addition to any home with an air fryer and with Christmas just around the corner, it would make a great gift, even as a secret Santa one as it is so reasonably priced.

GOOD TO KNOW
This book has proper British measurements, making it so much easier to follow as most of us do not have non British measuring cups and or spoons.
