Now the clocks have changed, the nights are lighter and the sun is shining a little bit more I’m starting my Spring cleaning. I’ve tried two cleaning products from Clean Living which has helped me make a great start.

Clean Living is a UK business which produces natural, biological cleaning supplies with the aim to be eco friendly and have a positive impact on climate change.

I have tried two of their cleaning products. The Biological Drain Maintainer and the Glass Cleaner Starter Pack. My first impression when they arrived was how sleek and attractive the packaging and items are and with no plastic in sight at all.

I tested the glass cleaner first. We have a lot of windows, mirrors and glass doors which, with two children, I often have to wipe down to remove sticky finger marks. Now the sun is shining more, It really shows up the streaks and dust on the windows. It’s time to give them a Spring clean. The Glass Cleaner Starter Pack arrived in a cardboard box. It contains a spray bottle, cloth and glass cleaner sachet.

The sachet is a 30ml glass cleaner concentrate. You simply pour the sachet into the spray bottle, fill with tap water and shake. The reusable bottle holds 300ml and is made of aluminium. I started with my mirrors. I only needed a couple of sprays and then I wiped them with the cloth included. It’s a microfiber glass cloth and is very soft and lovely to use. I was impressed how good my mirrors looked. There were no streaks left behind. I tried the glass cleaner on my kitchen mirror next. It’s often dirty with a layer of grease and the Clean Living glass cleaner easily shined it up. It left behind a fresh, pleasant scent too.

I think the bottle will go a long way and when needed I will only need a new refill sachet which start at only £1.99. The cloth can be machine washed and reused. I love how this glass cleaner does an amazing job and yet uses no harsh chemicals and is eco friendly and vegan. I will certainly be switching to this brand.

Similarly the Biological Drain Maintainer is made with non toxic biological cleaning agents. I poured the sachet down the bathroom drain and left it overnight. No rinsing or flushing out is needed. By morning the sink was clearing better and there was no odour left behind. Plus unlike other brands, there were no strong fumes which is always a worry to me with children in the house.

My favourite feature of Clean Living products is that the sachets are recyclable. A return envelope was included for a free recycling service. Simply place up to 20 used sachets inside and post off.

I am now eager to try more of the Clean Living products available. It’s also possible to set up a subscription so you never run out of sachets.
