Bravado Designs Restore Bra and Panties Set Review

As a family member has just announced that she is expecting a baby and I was wondering what I could buy her as a Christmas gift, I was delighted to receive a Bravado Designs Restore Bra and Panties Set to review. I was given a choice of colours and sizes and I decided to opt for the Roseclay shade which is a lovely dusky pink colour in a size L.
I was given a choice of colours, including Antique White, Black, Grey Orchard and of course, the aforementioned Roseclay with sizes ranging from S to XL. I chose to receive the L size as the bra sizing chart stated that it would stretch to fit up to a 42″ bust. The sizing chart is very accurate and simple to use and I would recommend that buyers check this prior to purchasing in order to ensure a perfect fit.

I was extremely pleased when I saw the quality of the bra and panties set. The bra is completely wire and hardware free, thus ensuring total comfort with no nasty bits of metal causing discomfort to the wearer. It’s in a pull-on design so it’s easy to get on and off without having to fiddle around with a hook and eye fastening. The crossover cups enable easy access for breastfeeding. I remember years ago when I had my own babies, trying to find a comfortable, easy opening bra so that I could breastfeed my children in comfort was practically impossible and I wish this bra had been around then.

The Restore bra and panties set is beautifully stretchy and is manufactured from recycled nylon and spandex. The ribbed fabric ensures a perfect fit, especially when the breast size fluctuates depending on the time of day and feeding schedule, and the 4 cm deep under band gives that extra bit of support. Many nursing bras don’t provide sufficient support and are uncomfortable to wear, but the design of this bra ensures absolute comfort. There is a little pocket on the cups containing foam inserts which can be removed according to preference and can be replaced with nursing pads if required.

The matching panties are made from the same material as the bra but without the ribbing and are completely seam free, super stretchy and very comfortable. There is a small pocket in the gusset, which is handy for placing a pad inside, which as all new mums know is a necessity.

The bra and panties set is also ideal for anyone who isn’t actually pregnant or nursing and just wants well-fitting, easy to wear, attractive underwear. I would love to wear this myself as it is so beautifully made and flattering.

As the bra and panties set is made predominately from recycled nylon, it is extremely sustainable and good for the environment. We buy far too many throw away items of clothing, so I’m always looking for anything which benefits our planet, by reusing and recycling. The fabric is pill resistant so will continue to look good after lots of use. The underwear set can be machine washed at a low temperature and should stay looking good for a long time.

If you are looking for a beautiful Christmas gift for either a pregnant friend or a special someone who deserves to be spoiled, the Bravado Designs Bra and Panties Set will be the ideal choice. It will make an amazing, thoughtful Christmas gift and the recipient will be thrilled.
