Hot Tools One Step Detachable Blow-Dry And Volumizer

What do you get someone for Christmas, who doesn’t know what they want. I think anyone that receives this Hot Tools Blow-Dry and volumizer brush under the tree this year won’t be disappointed with it. It really does what it says on the box, you get a salon blow dry in just one step.

I always look at these products on the shelfs and think they look good but I was never sure they would work for my hair. I always read reviews that they work wonders on thick wavy hair, making it smooth and sleek. Whereas me, I have thin fine hair and would love a bit of volume and no static! The appeal for me is that it’s a basically a hairdryer and brush in one. No more fiddling about trying to hold brush in one hand at back at my hair whilst I get the hairdryer with the other hand, I am a complete novice when it comes to styling my hair.

So to the product. It comes well packaged, in a nice bright box with a lovely big picture of brush on front. Love the colours of purple and gold, looks much more expensive than it actually costs. The blow-dry & volumizer comes in two parts. The brush attachment is oval shape designed with thermaglide ceramic coating for salon quality straightening and styling. The brush attachment has unique stylist designed smooth flow bristles and vent pattern, and the bristles are activated with Refresh 3 Max Activated charcoal. The handle is just the right size, not too fiddly and flimsy. The brush locks into place on the handle. And for safety, you need to pull down a button to release it. At the bottom of the handle, is the temperature control dial. You just rotate it clockwise/anti clockwise to your desired setting. The swivel cord is just short of 2 metres in length, and is tangle free. This product has a Euro Converter plug inside the original plug. Just use the mini screwdriver enclosed to unscrew the plug and inside is a 2 pin plug. This will be great for using when travelling abroad. And then there is the all-important instructions manual. It took minutes to set up and is very easy to use.

Now for the hair, I towel dried and ran a comb through like it recommends. I used the low setting, as like I said my hair is very fine. For thick or wavy hair, there is a higher setting. This product was so easy to use. I didn’t need to separate my hair as the brush head is so big. It did right from the roots to the base in one go. It didn’t drag or tangle my hair. It gave a really good smooth finish and volume, I GOT VOLUME!!! I love it! It took half the time of using a hairdryer and brush, and because the tip of unit stays cool, you can touch it when styling. The added charcoal element to the brush head gave me a shiny hair look but without the fly away wisps I usually get. I don’t even need to use my straighteners anymore on the ends as I can get it straight with the brush. But I have also used this product to curl the ends, and that looks just as fab. I really can’t recommend this product enough. I would definitely be hoping for a few more Hot Tool products under the Christmas tree this year.
