Wilkinson Sword Extreme 3 Beauty Eco-Green Razor And Intuition Perfect Finish Eyebrow Shaper Review

I’ve been slowly trying to cut down on our plastic use at home so when I noticed this review I knew I wanted to try it out. In my parcel I received the Xtreme 3 Eco Green, Xtreme 3 Beauty Eco Green and the Intuition Perfect Finish Eyebrow Styler.

For a good few years I’ve been ‘nagging’ my husband about our use of disposable razors so to find ones which are not only recyclable, the handle not the blades unfortunately, but made out of 95% recycled plastic was a win win for me.  

The razors are made up of 3 flexible blades which sit under a plastic cover. I love that the cover isn’t just a simple pull off, like other designs, and you have to press both sides of the cover to un-clip it. Albeit I won’t be leaving the razors within grabbing distance of the kids it is good to know if they do get hold of them they can’t access the blade easily. 

Both my husband and I tried the blades out and found them to be very smooth, gave a great shave and comfortable to hold. They are light in hand and easy to manoeuvre which makes shaving quick and effective. I liked them so much that I will be switching to these from now on and helping to reduce our plastic usage.

I can honestly say I’d never heard of the Intuition Perfect Finish Eyebrow Styler so I was quite intrigued. Having spent many years using tweezers of having my eyebrows waxed I was interested to see how they would compare to what I am used to. 

On first glance I was slightly confused. The box was simple in design featuring three individual blades. I felt they the instructions lacked any real information so a quick google search and I came across a number of videos and felt more confident to use the product. 

The product is very light in hand so easy to manoeuvre with a ribbed section where your thumb and first finger sit to help you can grip it easily. As I’d never used anything this before I was apprehensive at first. No one wants wonky eyebrows do they! I found them easy to use between my eyebrows at the bridge of my nose but underneath the eyebrows took a bit more work and a steady hand. The precision cap came in very handy at this point. 

Although the eyebrow styler gave a good finish I found that my hair grew back quickly, the same as shaving my legs/underarms. I also found an hour or so after using it my eyebrows felt slightly itchy and I had a few little cuts on my eyebrow. As a busy mum I don’t have the luxury of time so to have to do this every couple of days wouldn’t work for me. Even though using tweezers takes a little longer the results, for me, last longer so it’s not something I need to think about more than once a week.

If you are look for ways to reduce your plastic use whilst still using great products I’d highly recommend the Extreme 3 Eco Green razors. The Intuition Perfect Finish Eyebrow Styler definitely has its place in the beauty market and I’m sure are there plenty of people who would use this regularly but it won’t be one I’d be adding to my beauty collection in the near future. I think I’ll be sticking with my good old fashioned tweezers.
