Odylique Ylang Ylang And Orange Blossom Body Wash

I have always recycled as much as possible and used eco friendly cleaning products at home. I love the smell of natural products and how they have calming or uplifting properties for example but also help protect the environment. I usually only use natural and top quality body wash products if received as a gift due to the cost. Even though they are one of my favourite things.

Before I buy cleaning and body care products I always have a smell to check that I like it. I don’t like the smell of artificial scents and have found these can trigger headaches.

Odylique wasn’t a company I was familiar with until recently and I feel I have been missing out. Their body washes and soaps are 100% natural. The shower gels are free from all sulphates – including SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and contain no artificial ingredients. The shower gels and soaps are fragranced using natural botanicals such as orange, tea tree and lemon.

I tried the Ylang Ylang and Orange Blossom body wash. The first thing I noticed was the wonderful calming and relaxing smell of the body wash. It smelt so fresh and natural.

The body wash is an almost transparent colour which is pleasing to see, I really dislike brightly coloured dyed skin products.  The body wash has a runnier consistency then the regularly shower gel you would buy for example by well known brands.

I found that because it is made using natural products and without chemicals that it didn’t lather up as much as regular body wash. This was fine though as I knew the reason why.  When applying the body wash, the scent filled the shower cubical as if I was at a spa. It smelt wonderful. The body wash was easy to rub into my skin and felt very smoothing at the same time.

After I got out of the shower there was a subtle smell of scent on my skin which I like. My skin felt very clean & cleansed but not like it had been cleaned harshly. I didn’t suffer with any irritation or tightness which I do with other products.

I was so pleased with the result that I used the body wash in my son that suffers with eczema. I have to be so careful with products used on his skin so that his eczema does not become worse. I felt confident that he wouldn’t reacted as the body stated it is suitable for sensitive skin and pH 5.5 – balanced to that of the skin.

He commented how the body wash felt gentle on his skin & that he liked the orange smell. I am pleased to report that his skin felt soft with no irritation.

Odylique produce many different products such as: make up, shampoo, hair treatments and products for specific skin conditions such as psoriasis.

I am looking forward to trying other products by Odylique.

I have really enjoyed everything about this body wash. I feel that it is too expensive to use regularly in my household of four people but it definitely is worth every penny. I will be adding it to my Christmas list as well as buying for gifts.
