Logojoy Review

I was delighted to be given the opportunity of reviewing www.logojoy.com, which uses artificial intelligence to instantly logos, as we are currently rebuilding our ecommerce website www.footiemad.co.uk. I must admit as a complete technological novice, I was rather apprehensive about designing my own logo and whether it would turn out looking professional enough. I needn’t have worried.

On the homepage of the www.logojoy.com website I started by inputting Footiemad.co.uk where it says enter your company name. The next step was to pick 5 or more logos I like. I liked quite a few, so it was great that the software allowed for such a flexible number. After clicking on all of the logo designs I liked, I clicked continue which took me onto the colour selection screen. Here I could pick any colours I like. I chose black and dark green. After clicking continue, I arrived at a screen where I could type in an optional slogan. I input Official Football Merchandise and clicked continue.

Now for the symbols I like. I input soccer into the search box. I then choose all the symbols I liked which came up. My choices were a football, a football being kicked and a football and goal. I then clicked continue.

Now for the really fun part. Various designs were displayed, and I could then click on my chosen design and change various elements of the design. I clicked the button to change the background to white and then the slogan and symbol buttons to make them green. It is easy to work out what to do to change the colours.

I was happy with the font used, but there is a menu option to change it.

I then clicked preview to see my design mocked up on a business, t-shirts etc. I then clicked buy to go through the checkout process. The available options cost $20 for basic where you get a low-resolution logo. This option wouldn’t suit me as I would like to use my logo in print. I therefore selected the middle option which is a one-time charge of $65.

I think it’s great that you can phone for help and that you are given the font names and colours. There is nothing worse than trying to keep your website and marketing materials the same font and colours when you have no idea what they are. This is a situation I have been in several times before.

Full copyright ownership is really important. The high-resolution logo is a necessity for business cards, compliment slips etc.

Going through check out was a simple process. I then clicked to download my logo. It arrived as a zip file. I also viewed my brand guidelines. I am pretty much self-taught in marketing, having only studied one marketing module whilst at university, so receiving guidelines was really helpful. I had to choose a unique URL where myself and others can view the brand guidelines. I am over the moon with the end result. I prefer it to the logo we are currently using. The software is really easy to use and intuitive. I would use the software to design other logos and would recommend it to anyone needing a new logo. I did also want to mention how lovely and patient the staff are at Logojoy. I wanted to clarify some things and they were really friendly and patient with me.

I would have to rate them 5/5, and I would score them 10 if I could. I am so chuffed that I managed to design my own smart looking logo.
