I have just tried the Schwartz Flavour Shots, they come in 5 different flavors for about £1.39 each – I really enjoy cooking and trying different foods but as a mum of 5 it can be a struggle at times to cook a nice variety of meals to please everyone without spending all my time in the kitchen.
Our family favorite treat tea is Fajitas so that was the first one the kids voted for. I was a bit concerned that there wouldn’t be enough to go around everyone as each flavor shot is only a small pot, but the pot really does go a long way. I usually use a fajita seasoning powder and add my own oil but this pot is perfectly mixed and has the right amount of seasoning and oil. The packaging is really clear too and shows you exactly what you need and how to use it. The lid came off really easily and didn’t splash or spray anywhere like some other products do which was an extra bonus. I really enjoyed these fajitas and the chicken was more succulent and juicy than it usually is when I make them – my food fussy daughter asked if we can have these again as they are loads nicer than our normal ones.
I have also used the Indian Mild Masala curry, the Spanish Smoked Paprika Chicken and the Chinese Sweet & Sour. Each one was really delicious and easy to use. We have quite a good variety of different foods in this house so it’s nice to be able to get a really nice product like this that caters for all the different family favourites. The only one I haven’t made yet is the Thai Red Curry but I’ll be making that next week and I’m sure this will be just as impressive as the others.
I did notice too that afterwards the wok was lots easier to clean – usually I have bits of food struck or burns marks usually from not using enough or the right oil.
I would definitely recommend these Flavour Shots to anyone. They are a very easy to make with easy to buy ingredients. The meals look and taste like a lots of effort/and time has gone into them. There are even receipes for use on the Schwartz website.
