I adore Easter and have always embraced Easter Egg Hunts like a big kid! Couple that with the fact that my whole family love Peter Rabbit and you have the perfect Easter Egg hunt for us! I have never come across such a beautifully designed kit and was surprised by the size of each piece.
There are 13 characters and direction signs in the set, including the entrance ‘Easter Egg Hunt This Way’ sign plus 12 wooden stakes. The high quality is evident, no lolly pop sticks in this kit!! The stakes will obviously last a fair few events. The kit provides sticky backed tape to attach the stakes to your signs but I feel this is the only drawback of the whole kit, it’s a shame they don’t insert the stick into each sign to save having the wooden stake visible on one side. However, this doesn’t in anyway impact on the use of the kit and wouldn’t stop me purchasing it.
Many of the popular characters are represented with two appearances of everyone’s favourite, Peter Rabbit. There are arrow signs on both sides so you are free to have your hunt in all directions!
This is a well thought out, beautifully designed set which has not only been popular with my 7 month old daughter, 8 year old son and 10 year old daughter but also with my 73 year old Mother-in-law who got so excited, I had to stop her rushing out for a stash of mini eggs so she could host a hunt in February!
The only part of the set that states it is Easter themed is the entrance sign, it’s actually going to be perfect for a friend’s son’s Peter Rabbit themed birthday party to lead everyone to the buffet!
The price, at £13.49 is definitely more than someone may be expecting to pay for this kind of item but to be honest, the quality makes it worth it. It’s a 5 out of 5 from the Legge family!
