Giant Valentine’s Cupcake

Ohhhh how I love cake! Especially chocolate cake so to say I was happy to 'have to' munch my way through this gorgeous looking giant cupcake that I had in front of me. Giant was an understatement.
This lovely cake looked like a lovely oversized chocolate muffin which was topped with a generous helping of a chocolate soft icing and to add to its appearance there was a beautiful iced red love heart and pretty pink glitter sprinkles. It came packaged in a clear plastic casing so you could see how yummy it looked without having to fight through a giant box, which was helpful when I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.
When I cut my way through the cake I was met by a scrumptious looking chocolate cake and a thin layer of chocolate cream, it tasted just as good as it looked, the sponge was soft and tasty and full of flavour, the layer of chocolate cream went well with the rest of the cake and gave it a well-balanced moist taste.
Great looking and great tasting big thumbs up all round.
