I suffer terribly from chapped lips especially in the winter. They can become very sore and even bleed, and so far this winter had been no different. I was given Anatomicals Lip Balm to review and hoped that it would help relieve them a bit.
The box is nice and bright and looks very modern. The lip balm comes in a tube which can either be squeezed onto your finger or applied directly to the lips.
I put it straight on my lips and I have to say it feels a lot like petroleum jelly as it goes on. The one thing that is different is there is no strong smell with this product, in fact there is no smell at all. Far more appealing than smothering your lips in petroleum jelly, and absorbs much better as well.
It went on very easily and did not leave any greasy residue but kept my lips moisturised for ages. I only had to apply it twice during the day, despite numerous cups of coffee. I also applied it before I went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning my lips felt completely different, soft and no pain at all. I continued to use it the following day and all the cracking and pain had gone that evening.
This is a fantastic product at a brilliant price. Because of the packaging and the fact that there is no smell this could also be used by men as well and in no way resembles a lipstick.
Everyone should have one of these and I will be buying more so I can have one in the car, on my desk at work etc…
