This 1970's cop drama meets 21st Century technology with Jack Regan (Winstone) and George Carter (Drew) as part of the Flying Squad known as The Sweeney. The team are responsible for taking down notorious armed gangs in the heart of England's capital whilst all the while under the watchful eye of Ivan Lewis (MacKintosh), head of Internal Affairs. The success of the team generally keeps them out of trouble until a particularly violent robbery takes place and leaves them with few clues, except that it echoes of a former criminal named Allen (Anderson).
Can the team find the perpetrators without any casualties and can Regan and Carter's friendship survive the tension?
This adrenaline pumping movie will get your heart racing from the start, with humour and tragedy mixed in equal measure.
