NAIF are a natural baby care range and their packaging complements this. The Travel Baby Care Set comes in a strong brown paper recyclable toiletry bag with a zip. It looks great. It’s compact and easy to pack and will definitely last as long as the creams it comes with. I’m not sure how long it would last as a durable toiletry bag if it gets too wet, but ours got a wet when in the bathroom and the water just wiped off and easily dried out. I was pleasantly surprised at its durability.
The Travel Kit is a pack that comes with a beautiful and soft cotton flannel glove. It is easy to use and because it’s in the shape of a glove, is easy to keep on to wash the baby. I loved it.
It also comes with 4 of the Naif baby care signature products. A travel size pack of:
Nurturing cream
Softening cream
Diaper cream
Cleansing wash gel
The wash gel, diaper cream and a body cream are a nice set to have – perfect for our bedtime routine, but I would actually have preferred the hair shampoo as the 4th item rather than a second cream (even though I appreciate each cream has a different use).
All of the NAIF products are made from natural ingredients with no chemical or man-made scents. They still have a nice natural scent to them though.
The diaper cream spreads really easily and seemed to soothe any irritation.
The nurturing cream is more for use when there is an irritation on the skin and the softening cream is for general moisture following the bath (or anytime really). Neither seem to have caused any irritation to my baby.
Originally from the Netherlands, but available over in the UK (in Boots) and on the internet, these products are good value, especially given that usually the more natural products are the more expensive.
I have reviewed just smaller versions of each product, but they also come in 200ml tubes for £12.
These natural products are good for baby and lovely to use. The gift set comes in a great organic package and the cotton facecloth is sooooo soft! I love it!
