Warning – this is a highly addictive puzzle!

The Twist and Turn arrived in its own box with a little window so you can see the product – it’s easy to get out the box with no ties or tape so you can get puzzling straight away.

It is a really clever little puzzle made up of four loops of coloured rope inside a ball. When they arrive they are untangled so you can make your first twist and turn as easy as you’d like. I intended to make it nice and easy but got distracted while twisting it about to tangle the wires and have made myself a mighty difficult mess.

The sections of the ball are colour coded to which piece of rope they belong to and you move them about to try and untangle the ball and get it back to its original state.

I’m so far three cups of tea and an hour down and I think I’m only making it worse!

If you like logic puzzles such as Rubix Cube or like to see other people very confused then this is a great Christmas gift. I’m enjoying immensely while being utterly confused at the same time.

A brilliant gift or stocking filler and only £14.99 from WHSmith and I’ll give it 5/5 as I love it and am frustrated by it in very equal measures which is the sign of an excellent puzzle!

Rating: 5/5 thumbs_up
