Trotters Milo Body Review
Milo Body

I need to begin this review by saying that this vest is without doubt, the nicest piece of baby clothing I have ever felt. A simple, plain, white long sleeved vest with a Peter Pan collar, fastening with several poppers down the back and the usual between the legs for easy nappy changes, it really is so super soft. 96% cotton and 4% elastane, makes this the softest Jersey fabric, it could almost be velvet. It is just beautiful. It makes me want to cuddle my little boy even more (If that is possible!). I don’t know how they have managed to get this vest as soft as it is but it is just lovely.
I have dressed my baby in this several times now, just with a pair of dungarees or underneath a jumper with trousers and every time he has worn it I have received so many lovely comments from other mums. He just looks so cute in it! I have never dressed my little boy in anything that has Peter Pan collar before as I thought it might look a bit too ‘girly’ but if anything it just makes him look even more adorable.
I have washed this vest several times now and it has kept is shape really well and it has also stayed super soft! It doesn’t require any special washing which is a big plus when washing clothes seems like a never ending cycle! Just chuck it in the washing machine at 30 and all is fine. I haven’t tried tumble drying it yet though as it has dried really well on the line.
It is also a great size. My little boy is going on 8 months now so I picked the 6-12 month size and there is plenty of growing room. I have found in the past that some baby grows and vests can either be perfect in the length but too tight on the arms or vice versa, but this vest fits lovely which I’m so pleased about as I intend to use it on Christmas Day, making sure my baby is dressed up super smart.
This vest is of such high and luxurious quality and it is certainly not something I would routinely just stick on my baby to wear day to day (unfortunately, because trust me I would if I could). However this vest really is a fantastic product and not something that you can just find in a normal children’s wear shop.
If I’m going to be critical (and I am only being really, really picky here) I would have say that the only thing that is a bit awkward are the poppers on the back. It’s not too fiddly because my little boy can sit up and support himself now so I can quickly fasten them up without too much difficulty, but I would suspect that if you had a younger child it could be hard.
I would certainly recommend this vest to any parent out there wanting to dress their baby in something extra special. I definitely give this vest five out of five. It is a lovely product that I want to dress my baby in again and again.
