Out of Tune by Beth Reekles Review

Out Of Tune immediately caught my attention and I was very pleased when I was picked to read and review it.
The story is written by the very talented Beth Reekles who won a Teen Fiction Award for her book The Kissing Booth.
The books are mainly aimed at teen audiences but I enjoyed the story and I am 31!
The stories main characters are straight A student Ashley, her jock boyfriend Josh and Ashley’s shy but very cute new neighbour Todd.
Ashley is very loved up with Josh and even lost her best friend Allie when they began dating leaving her without any close friends and often very lonely.
All this soon changes by the arrival on Todd!
Ashley and Todd don’t start off on the right foot but throughout the story you see their friendship grow and as a result her boyfriend Josh begins to get quite jealous.
The jealousy soon comes to a head and the boys come to blows forcing Ashely to turn her back on Josh and his jock posse for good.
This leaves Ashley with one friend but she has never felt more alive and as the story continues she begins to live again and rekindle lost friendships along the way.
This book was absolutely fantastic and I will be reading Beth’s other books The Kissing Booth and Rolling Dice!
