Coronation Chicken Recipe Mix

It was invented for guests at the Queen’s Coronation in 1953 and is a classic British dish that remains a firm favourite. It consists of cold chicken in a mild curry sauce. The mix contains coriander seeds, cumin and turmeric, I added mayonnaise, mango chutney, spring onions and sultanas as the recipe says. It made a lovely dish that the whole family enjoyed, I served it with salad, but it would go just as well with rice or jacket potatoes.
I will be making again using the Schwartz mix, it is very handy to have in cupboard and is ideal for a quick meal.
