We absolutely loved Peppa Pig’s Treasure Hunt!

My 2 year old daughter is a massive fan of Peppa, who will not sleep at night unless she has had her daily dose of Peppa Pig.

When we arrived at The Palace theatre in Manchester we were surrounded by little Peppa Pig fans all with their own Peppa dolls and even Peppa outfits.

Initially, I was disappointed to see that the characters were puppets rather than full costumes, but I was soon delighted with the storyline, actors and the show overall.

My daughter was totally engrossed watching the show, and I found that the best bit was when they turned the lights down to look at the fish which were illuminated. My little one loved this and even learned some new words, such as sea horse and crab.

The pirate who led the show was fantastic; she gained the audiences participation really well. The show was very interactive and had lots of fun songs, I even went home singing one of them.

Overall it was an excellent show with amazing puppeteers who captivated the audience incredibly; it was a truly wonderful experience.

Rating: 5/5

Saturday 18th February I took my 4 year old son to the theatre to see Peppa Pig and the treasure hunt. Right from the very beginning, Joshua was absolutely captivated by the music and the characters, which were puppets operated by people. As the story started and more characters appeared, josh really got into the storyline and the problems which Peppa and her friends encountered. He loved the underwater glow in the dark section, where we encountered starfish, crabs and shoals of fish! During the interval we had a look at the merchandise which was very expensive for what is was, Peppa Pig or George t-shirts were £10! But the light sticks were a big hit with most of the children there, they retailed at £7 each. Overall we had a great time and josh definitely enjoyed himself, joining in with the songs and rhymes.
