Kozi Kidz is a Swedish company selling children’s outdoor clothing in the UK. The item we reviewed is one of their winter jackets – the Stockholm jacket in pink/berry (also available in blue or red) – and it is pink – I mean really pink!! My daughter has just turned 4, but is quite tall for her age and so the age 4/5 jacket is a great fit, with a little growing room, which is brilliant – it will see us through this winter for sure, maybe even next winter too!
The jacket is padded without being overly cumbersome, and I am assured by my daughter that it is totally snuggly and warm! It’s a vivid pink colour with slightly darker pink material on the chest, upper back and elbows. The contrasting lining, inner hood, cuffs and trims are navy, which is a really nice touch and stops it from being too pink. The colour is gorgeous – it really stands out against the sea of navy and black. The hood is roomy and the fur trim gives a real touch of lux.
The extra little design features include reflective dots on the back, as well as the Kozi Kids badge front and back. My daughter loved the little Swedish flag! The hood is removable, which is good for the less inclement days as well as preventing choking should the hood get caught on anything. As well as the hood, the fur trim is also removable.
My daughter loves this jacket – her favourite things about it are the fur trim and the zipped pockets – she has a love of pockets! She also spends a lot(!) of time on the touchline of various football pitches, supporting her brother, in the most dreadful weather – so far the Stockholm jacket gets the thumbs up for warmth and weather defense!! It looks really trendy and drew quite a few admiring comments from other mums.
With the bonus of being fully machine washable (no fabric softener though), this is a great addition to my daughter’s wardrobe. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this jacket and will definitely be looking at Kozi Kidz’ broader range. This jacket is also available in blue and red and in sizes from 12 months to 10 years.
