I was really happy to get picked for this review as we have just had new flooring laid throughout the whole of the downstairs of our house, having had carpets before I didn’t own a mop, so this has come at a great time.
I checked with the carpenter what could be used on the flooring and he said a mop would be fine, so here we are.

The mop arrived well packaged and ready to put together. The outside of the box has an image of the mop and contents included, it also has simple instructions for how to use the mop and assemble it. There are also images of the mop and bucket ‘in use’ and a caption that states it can clean and remover over 99 percent of bacteria with just water.

Opening the box you see the items them selves, the mop handle comes in several pieces that screw together easily, they are numbered and the instructions make putting the mop together simple and easy enough for anyone to do.
The mop bucket requires no assembly as this is all done for you, so once the mop handle is all put together you can begin on your clean floor adventures.

I put water and a little floor cleaner in the bucket up to the fill line and set to work, I did as the instructions said and put the mop head in the right position and slowly moved the grey part of the handle up and down to wet the mop head. The first time I put it on the floor I hadn’t spun it properly so it was still very wet, I learnt from this attempt and the next few gos went better, the mop spins when you move the grey part quickly so I made sure to do this several times going forward, this then dampened the floor to clean it rather than soaking it, meaning that the floor dried a lot quicker.

Once you have finished the bucket is very easy to empty, it has an emptying slot that the water pours out directly from which really does make it much easier and cleaner to empty. Once the bucket is empty the brush roller mechanism also comes off easily so that you can rinse and clean that too. It is then all simple to put back together to use next time.
The water that I poured out was dirty and the mop head pad was dirty too, so it obviously does a good job, although with the foot traffic and food droppage of three small children it was bound to find some dirt to power through. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use and also how flat it goes so that you can get under cupboards, counters and tables. The head itself also lifts up on one side so you can get the skirting boards and right into the corners of the room, really handy all round.

Once you have finished the mop pad comes off easily – it’s attached with velcro – ready to be washed in the washing machine, you can also purchase extra mop pads as needed, maybe having a spare for when the first is in the wash would be beneficial. The mop bucket is relatively small and more convenient to store than a regular mop bucket, it fits in a standard size kitchen cupboard.

By using this bucket and mop you are not dipping your mop head into dirty water and the roller is taking off the dirt and dirty water from the mop head as you work, therefor making your job easier and the flooring cleaner as you go, I would definitely recommend this mop to anyone with a laminate or vinyl flooring that needs to be kept clean.
