I was very happy to get picked to write this review, I haven’t until very recently had an air fryer and was very happy to get a new kitchen gadget to play with.

The air fryer arrived in a branded box, it was packaged well and surrounded with egg box type cardboard to keep it safe on its travels. It came within the box in a large plastic bag and each of the components in the oven side of the air fryer also came packaged in their own plastic bag.

The air fryer is all black with windows on the front so you can keep an eye on your food while it is cooking. The cooking options are all on the front panel, they are easy to select, follow and press, a really simple layout makes for easy cooking.

The left hand side of this air fryer is an oven side, with it’s own racks, pans and a drip tray, it is the smallest cutest oven and has a door that opens downwards rather than your standard drawer. The right hand side of the air fryer is your typical air fryer drawer with a push button on the handle so the door clicks and unclicks into position. The windows on the front of the drawer and door are really handy they allow you to see at a glance how your food is doing and you can adjust or take it out accordingly.

Selecting the correct function for cooking is easy with touch screen panel which is well laid out and also guided with illustrations for easy selection. The time and temperature can also be set individually as needed so even if you aren’t cooking something with a pre-set you can adjust the settings for your meal.

I set the time and temperature myself for both the oven side and the drawer, one to cook pastry and the other to cook chips, however I could have used one of the pre-set functions available on this fryer which consist of – chips, fish, bacon, veg, toast, chicken wings, steak, prawns, dehydrate and bake. My 11 year old cannot wait to cook bacon for his breakfast and cheese on toast for his lunch, with a cake for dessert and I am more that happy with the ease of use being such that he will manage this with minimal supervision (he’s not much good at following a recipe though, so wish me luck!).

The two sides can either be used alone or can be used together with synchronised cooking, meaning that you can set them independent of each other but have them both finish cooking at the same time, really handy when you are cooking a family meal and want to get everything on the table at the same time.

The oven comes with a grill plate, an air flow rack and basket, a drip tray and a baking tray, all of which slide in and out on little oven runners. The drawer side comes with a removable bottom tray which is removable for washing.

Having made a few dinners with this air fryer I am really happy with it, it cooks chips really well, the oven is a great little addition and adds a variety to what you can cook and how. It is easy to use and looks good too. It is also big enough to handle a family meal and makes cooking easier with the ability to synchronise the two compartments.
If you are looking for a two compartment air fryer this Good Food 10 Litre Oven and Basket Air Fryer is definitely worth a buy it gives consistent results and can handle a large range of cooking tasks.
