Made from strong durable plastic with anti-slip base and steps the Double Step Up Stool from Tippitoes is a great item for helping with toilet training. It comes in white with a grey top step so should fit in with any bathroom colour.
It has 2 anti-slip textured steps allowing your child to step up to the toilet with ease. The top step is quite large (33cm wide) so there is enough space for small children to stand on without the fear of falling off. It stands 20.5cm high so is more than adequate for that extra height for even the smallest toddler to step up and use the toilet. As it is made from plastic it is very easily cleaned should there be any accidents (sponge clean only). As it weighs less than 1kg it is a very portable item so children will have no problem moving it. While it is very light it is also very strong so will not break while your child is using it.
After checking it over to make sure it was safe I gave it to my young nephew to try out. After constantly stepping up and down on it as he seemed to think it was a toy we finally coaxed him into going to the toilet. After a week he is now getting the hang of putting this in front on the toilet whenever he needs to go. And he has also figured out that using this he can now reach the taps on the sink and play with the water.
This is a great item for toilet training but you just have to be very careful as my nephew has now figured out that he can use it for other purposes and can now reach things that he couldn’t before so just make sure that everything dangerous is safely out of reach.
This is a great item, extremely useful and makes toilet training so much easier. It is very safe with the anti-slip steps, it is very easy to clean with a sponge and at £12.99 is excellent value for money.
