Thriller Live New Victoria Theatre Woking Preview

CELEBRATE THE KING OF POP

WITH THRILLER LIVE

Direct from the West End, Thriller Live moonwalks to the New Victoria Theatre, Woking celebrating the career of the world’s greatest entertainer from Mon 10 – Sat 15 February.

This spectacular concert show celebrates the music of the undisputed King of Pop, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. Already seen by over two million people in over 26 countries, Thriller Live continues to moonwalk around the world, taking you on a visual, audio and electrifying journey through the magic of Michael’s 40 year musical history.

The exceptionally talented cast and band include Cleo Higgins as the lead female vocalist. Cleo was the lead singer of Cleopatra – the 1990’s pop group made up of three sisters. Signed to Madonna’s label Maverick when she was just 13, Cleopatra had three Top 10 hits, supported the Spice Girls, had two TV series and even performed at the Vatican. Last year, Cleo auditioned for BBC1’s show The Voice, joining Will.i.am’s team and reached the semi finals. The last performance Cleo appeared on The Voice also led her to be nominated for Best Act for The National Reality TV awards 2013.

Unlike other West End productions, Thriller Live is not a rigid book musical with set songs, but is a constantly evolving music concert celebration. When Michael Jackson died, the Lyric Theatre became a focus for fans from all over the world, who created a massive shrine of flowers, candles, and tributes. More than 40 books of condolence were signed in the foyer then sent to the Jackson family. A year after his death, a permanent West End memorial to Michael was unveiled in the theatre foyer.

Thriller Livebrings the distinctive high-energy dancing and pulsating sound of many of pop’s greatest hits including I Want You Back, ABC, Off The Wall, Smooth Criminal, Beat It, Dirty Diana, Dangerous and Thriller, blending eye-popping video footage and effects together with dazzling choreography by the show’s award-winning director Gary Lloyd. The show has regularly been updated with additional songs, new visuals and choreography. So make sure you ‘beat it’ to the Box Office this February!
