Few things feel as good as a lovely warm shower, if your daily shower has not been hitting the spot recently you might want to consider replacing the shower head, a build up of limescale can affect the performance of your shower. Or perhaps your looking for ways to reduce your water consumption, this showerhead will reduce consumption by 85%. Changing the showerhead is very simple and easy to do and does not require any special tools it’s just a case of unscrewing the old one and screwing on the new one, just be mindful that you don’t lose the washer. Such a simple way to give your shower an upgrade with no disruption to your bathroom whatsoever.

I was talking to a friend recently who didn’t even know you could replace a showerhead and had no idea that it would be so simple, a few days after our conversation they called to thank me a they had been thinking they needed to install a complete new shower but just a new showerhead had been all that was needed. All Mira showerheads have a universal fitting so are compatible with all showers, but this particular model cannot be used with an electric shower as restricting waterflow over the heating element will have a detrimental effect and could cause burn out of the heating element.

The Mira Eco showerhead has a diameter of 90mm which is a typical size for many showerheads, it is a chrome finish, in a sleek modern design that is easy to clean even the water nozzles are designed to be easy to wipe clean which will help to keep the dreaded limescale at bay.

This showerhead is a single spray, with a built in flow regulator it reduces the water used to six litres per minute without compromising on the performance.

Mira are committed to reducing single use plastics and their showerheads come packaged in a very nice cardboard display box this would even made a good practical gift for someone who you’ve heard complaining about their showers performance or cost of water, and you don’t have to worry about them not being able to install it, honestly it’s so simple anyone could do it.

With a one year warranty this showerhead can be purchased direct from Mira priced at £49, delivery is free and will be with you in 3 to 5 days, there is no minimum order required.

Mira have over 100 years’ experience, they are committed to manufacturing their products in the UK and have manufacturing sites in Gloucestershire and Hull with one simple mission “to shape the ultimate shower experience” it makes sense to buy your showerhead from a company with so much experience in this field.

There is a large range of showerheads and other shower equipment on the Mira website and lots of advice to help you find the right one for you .
