Katherine Daniels Essential Fragrance For Car And Home Review

I was lucky enough to be chosen as a reviewer for the Katherine Daniels Essential Fragrance for Car and Home.  I was not at home when this was sent to me but the package fit through my letter box which seems like a small thing to mention, but the reason I mention this is because it means you do not need to make a journey to the post office depot to go and collect this, which in this current climate where we are all trying to stay home should definitely get a mention.

When I opened the package and fished out the essential fragrance item, it seemed very small but very well made. It is a very pretty item and if you are going to use this in your car, it definitely looks more attractive than the cardboard heart shaped smelly I currently have hanging in my car! It feels very well made too. The silver lid has an almost lace effect look, but in a metal material. The container that holds the actual fragrant liquid, is a clear glass bottle that has the initials ‘KD’ in black on one of the glass faces. In order to suspend the item, the string is a thick, silver rope that reminds me of a lace but obviously a lot more classy in appearance. As the holder is adjustable, if you decide to hang this in your car, you are able to hang this at a height that would not obstruct your vision when driving.

I actually haven’t opted to have this hanging in my car, but instead, once I took off the plastic seal inside the bottle, and smelt the fragrance, I decided to have this on my desk at my home office which I now spend more time in compared to anywhere else in my life.

There are 3 scents to chose from orange & neroli, rise & amber and pomegranate & plum. The fragrance I was given for review was the orange & neroli variety. The Katherine Daniels website states that for the Orange & Neroli option, it is “an uplifting cocktail of orange & neroli. With a touch of pepper and a sprinkle of chilli. This fragrance is empowering and energising.”

I would fully agree with this. The smell is totally amazing which is why I chose to have this in my home office as I very rarely use my car and I wanted to get the fully experience of this scent. Unfortunately, I knocked this over on day and a small amount of the fragrance spilt onto my desk and I ended up having a migraine, but I am very prone to migraines so this is very specific to my experience. But, in all fairness, this is why this item is designed to hung and kept upright. I have since decided that maybe this isn’t best placed in my home office and have now hung this item in my wardrobe. For me that is the perfect place as I get to smell it every day and even some of the clothes that are hung closest to the item have picked up some of the fragrance.

As the fragrance chamber is glass, it would be great if you could buy refills to top up the bottle when the fragrance has evaporated.

I would say that this item is a perfect stocking filler for someone who enjoys different scents that you wouldn’t ordinary find in a car fragrance, or even a secret Santa present. Next on my list to try is the pomegranate and plum. That combination sounds divine.
