The Real Shaving Company offers a professional grooming range for males. I was sent three items to review and they were road tested with excellent results on my husband (45) and son (19). Each item comes in bright easy to use plastic tube with the company logo showing clearly above the colour coded bold writing stating clearly what it is used for. My family had never heard of this company established in 1953 but having sampled it in future it is going to be on our shopping list.
Daily Face Scrub
The cream was easy to squeeze from the 100ml tube and had a pleasant subtle smell. It claims to exfoliate the skin and my son said this is certainly true! It left skin feeling clean and looking bright ready for shaving. Directions suggested using twice a day and it has been used in my house for a week now with plenty left for more applications. Shave Cream
This comes in a 125ml tube and is double concentrated. It lathers well so you only need a small amount applied to a wet face. There is no razor drag and it gave a smooth shave. The scent is again subtle and if there is such a word? ‘manly’ it doesn’t over power your usual aftershave in the slightest and my husband commented that he was completely bristle free after using. Anti-Aging Moisturiser
I don’t know about the males in your house hold but my lot have the idea that it is somehow ‘sissy’ and a girl’s thing to moisturise… This award winning SP15 moisturiser protects from the elements whilst also helping to prevent wrinkles and promote firmer looking skin. The testers found it easy to apply but found it had to be massaged in for a good couple of minutes to get rid of the shine. Both admitted that it left their skin feeling great and that they will consider using now as part of their regime. RRP: £4.99
After using all three products from The Real Shaving Company range I can honestly say that the skin is in a much better condition than before. A must for the modern man and value for money my son has already advised me to buy more when ours runs out!
