As a special treat we tried Tesco’s Finest A La Carte Menu and what a special treat it was! I don’t know where else you would get 2 main meals, 2 side orders, 2 desserts and a bottle of sparkling wine for £20.00 (£10 for each meal deal). Food of such high quality is quite surprising.
I had the Fillet of Beef Wellington with triple cooked chips and my partner had the Slow Cooked Lamb Shank with creamy pommes puree. The food was fantastic made to perfection.
Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m a picky eater but I loved every morsel of the beef wellington. So much so I licked the plate clean. The lamb shank was also eaten so quickly that I didn’t get a chance to try any.
Finally we each had a beautifully made dessert. I had a melting salted caramel sponge pudding and she had a Swiss chocolate and amaretto truffle slice. Again the food was of such high quality it didn’t last long!
All this food was beautifully complimented by an amazing bottle of Italian sparkling wine. I was so amazed at the quality of the food that we had. In Valentine’s week I definitely recommend Tesco’s Finest A La Carte Menu. It’s beautifully packaged and at such an amazing price I am going to treat, and I really mean treat, my partner to more from the range on Valentine’s Day!
Tesco’s A La Carte range is fantastic food made with beautiful ingredients. On a scale of 5 I give this range from Tesco’s a 10!
