Temu Item Bundle Review

I received a two item bundle from TEMU to review; a 16-piece set of polyester hair ties & claw clips and a stainless steel vacuum flask set with 2 one cup lids.
The items arrived really promptly, were well packaged and arrived in pristine condition. So I took a closer look to see what they were like;
16-piece set of polyester hair ties & claw clips:
I was sent a set of pink hair accessories styling accessories – these are also available in purple and black, depending on your preference/ hair colour.
This 16-piece set comprises of the following:
10 x elastic hair ties
3 x hair claw clips in different shapes
1 x headband with bow
2 x wristbands
The hair clips were easy to use and held my hair up securely, offering a surprisingly good grip- better than I expected. They are made from matte plastic and were a slightly deeper shade of pink compared to the hair ties, headband and wristbands- a colour I really liked and often wear myself.
The elastic hair ties were a baby pink colour and were big enough to wrap around my three times. They gave a reasonable hold and pulled out without snagging.
The headband is perfect to sweep the hair off of your face, when carrying out your facial cleansing routine. I found that it fit tightly around my head, which is what I want, to stop my hair getting wet, when I clean my face.
If I’m going to be honest, I didn’t really get the purpose of the wristbands and could find no information online to clarify their intended purpose and feel that their part in the set could be replaced by a more useful accessory – but that’s my personal opinion.
The RRP of this set is £30.74, which I feel is incredibly high for this product and there is no way that I’d contemplate paying that for the set. However, it is currently on sale for £2.27, which is much better value and with that in mind, they would make a great stocking filler this coming Christmas.

Stainless Steel Vacuum flask set:
The stainless steel vacuum flask set comprised a 500ml stainless steel flask, with a cup lid (including handle) to fit on top and 2 further cup lids. The set was presented well – arriving in display box, inside a cute paper gift bag, with string handles.
I was sent the green flask set, but it also comes in blue and black. I really liked the shade of green of the flask.
My son plays outdoor football at the weekend, so it gave me a perfect opportunity to give the flask a whirl. When I poured the boiled water into the flask, I could feel the warmth of the water through it straight away, so I was concerned that it wouldn’t keep the temperature and I was right.
I was disappointed that the flask didn’t keep my tea as hot as I’d have liked. While it does offer some insulation, it didn’t retain the temperature at a level I found satisfactory, especially if you enjoy your hot drinks piping hot, like I do.
I even ran a test with my own thermometer and the temperature of the boiled water in the flask dropped down to around 40 degrees within 3 hours. The label around the flask boasts that it will keep your drinks hot for 12 hours, which I don’t believe to be true. The flask label also states that it keeps cold drinks cold for 12 hours, which is more than likely to be true, but not tested at the time of the review.
The lid fits relatively well, however, I was disappointed that the additional 2 cups didn’t stack neatly on top. I liked how you push down the middle button to pour the drink, rather than having to unscrew the top. The outer surface of the flask is slightly texturized, making it easier to grip.
The RRP for this flask set is £30.11 which I feel is a steep price point for this product, but is currently on sale on Temu for £6.43, which is much more reasonable. It would still make a good Christmas gift idea for a loved one, who enjoys cold drinks on the go.
Overall I liked the product’s colour and pourability, but I was let down by it’s ability to retain the temperature of hot drinks. I feel it’s much more suited to cold drinks.
