Dock Bar Media City Review
Dock Bar
Media City, Manchester

When I first heard about this bar I was very intrigued, I had to check it out.
When I arrived at Media City there was no doubt to where we were heading, it is a great big shipping container placed at the edge of the water. The bar consists of the container with a separate bar and a grill bar.
On first impression I was a little unsure about it. However, once I had been served by James, the very attentive barman, and sat near the cosy fire I was very impressed with the experience. I was uncertain of what drinks to try, but on the sound advice of the staff at the Dock Bar I started with a mulled wine which my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed, then moving onto a gingerbread white Russian (which was amazing, and probably the best cocktail I have ever had) and a mulled cider.
This bar is a cool, new way of socialising, with its cosy log fire, sheepskin rugs, football table and chilled out music, I will definitely be visiting again.
