With headquarters in Richmond, Tatiana Porembova offers brides-to-be an affordable bespoke, semi-couture wedding gown. Having previously trained with Emma Perrin, as well as working for a number of prestigious bridal salons such as Silhouettes of Richmond and Reflections of Chiswick for many years, Tatiana Porembova has over seven years in the wedding industry and certainly knows how to create a beautiful bridal gown.
Today, she is bringing fresh, innovative and unique design methods to us from Richmond, with stylish, bold and fresh designs featured in her 2011 collection of wedding dresses.
Tatiana's journey began with a degree in Fashion & Design Studies from the London College of Fashion.
In addition, Tatiana has succeeded in creating an impressive clientele including high street brands such as Shanghai Tang and many private clients for the design, creation and customisation of unique wedding dresses and a range of bespoke bridal wear.
After thoroughly researching the market to see what she was missing, Tatiana then set about creating a line that filled a niche, delivering style and statement in one complete package.
This year, after two long years of design concept, pattern cutting and production (with the help and support of fashion experts from around the world) Tatiana is thrilled to be able to present her own unique collection of designer wedding dresses.
Tatiana says: 'I am very excited about this collection'. My 2011 collection highlights my creative thinking, bold, innovative designs and unique design methods over other more traditional wedding dress designers; it has been an amazing experience from the beginning sketches to the finishing touches of lace and silks, and I have enjoyed being able to use my extensive knowledge of creative pattern cutting and dressmaking expertise to create my own collection for less conventional brides'.
The collection comprises of ten different designs that any bride would be thrilled to wear when gliding down the aisle. Tatiana has used an interesting mix of exquisite fabrics to create unique looks, and has enjoyed playing with structure and textures to produce some highly individual bridal gowns that make her collection stand out from other wedding dress designers. Her inspirations include: architecture, engineering and origami.
These inspirations are clearly reflected in the 2011 collection.
