Scottish Finely Sliced Black Pepper Pastrami
I loved this Pastrami – to be honest I had never tried Pastrami before and didn’t know what it was!!! To me it looked like roast beef which I love.
There were six slices of roast beef or pastrami in the packet, each piece was liberally coated all around the edge with black pepper.
The meat smelled and tasted delicious, slices of gorgeous tender roast beef with a hint of black pepper running through. It had a lovely texture and more or less ‘melted in my mouth’. I am not normally a lover of pre sliced roast beef as sometimes it is difficult to chew or the texture is strange. Not this roast beef or Pastrami as it is called, it was really delicious.
It is ideal for sandwiches, in a salad or even with potatoes and veg.
I can thoroughly recommend this product and will be looking out for it in the shops!

Tarbert Fine Meats are great tasting quality meats, perfect for sandwiches. I recently tried Topside of Beef, Peppered Topside of Beef, Roast Pork and Chicken & Haggis.
All the meat was top quality and tasted delicious with very little fat. The only one I didn’t like was the chicken & haggis, while the chicken was succulent and tasted great I was not keen on the haggis in the centre of the slice (I think this is an acquired taste).
My favourite was the beef, made from Scottish beef, it had very little fat, had a great texture and an even better taste.
I would highly recommend the beef but the pork and chicken (without the haggis) also had great flavour and were good quality.
