Golden Wonder have released 2 new special edition flavoured crisps based on Heinz Tomato Ketchup and HP Brown Sauce, and they both taste great but don’t worry they don’t taste like you are just eating sauce.
Heinz Tomato Ketchup Flavour – these come in a red 32.5g bag. On opening the bag you can smell the tomato ketchup. The crisps themselves are nice and crunchy and have a mild taste of the Heinz Tomato Ketchup, they have just the right amount of flavouring so the taste is not overpowering.
HP Sauce Flavour – these come in a brown 32.5g bag. Again on opening the bag you can smell the sauce and are good crunchy crisps with a mild taste of sauce. Again they do not have an excessive amount of flavour as to totally overpower the taste.
Overall, I enjoyed both of these flavours with the Heinz Tomato Ketchup being my favourite as I felt the flavouring was just right. While the HP Sauce flavour had a good taste I did feel that didn’t taste as much like the sauce as the tomato ketchup ones did, but then I very rarely use brown sauce. So while both flavours were good and overpowering on the taste my favourite is the tomato ketchup but maybe that’s because I am more used to the taste of the ketchup than the brown sauce.
