Rubis Tweezers Classic Swiss Cross Review

Reviewed by Emma Rogers
This week I trialled the Rubis Swiss tweezers, aimed mainly at the cosmetics market. They’re made from surgical stainless steel, finished by hand under magnifying glass and have won countless awards for their design.
They’re easy to use, and from the time you open the packet, they’re very light weight. What struck me most was how sharp they are and how precise – my usual tweezers don’t meet in the middle so you have to fiddle about to be able to use them for eyebrow shaping, but these were perfect. The ends are slightly flatter than other tweezers, so it’s easy to shape them against the skin to be able to get the precision needed for individual, and very tiny hairs. The stainless steel makes it easy to grip as well, but if you get them too close to the skin, the sharp ends can be painful! The ergonomics of the grip makes them easy to use as well as the handles aren’t too long. In using the product, it’s obvious that they’re well-made and made to last, which is relief when you’re used to buying High Street brands and have to update every few years. These tweezers can be bought as part of a set too, which includes tweezers with magnifying glass, scissors and nail cutters. They’re also available in different colours including gold plated!
At £21.50 they’re not cheap, but as my normal tweezers that aren’t as good are only half the price, these make a good investment for life. They also come in a handy plastic wallet that can fit into a make up bag and remain clean and come with an information leaflet too.
